Emergency Medical Fund
There are often times that we receive calls about companion animals in medical distress. Most of the dogs are owned but if the owner cannot afford the required veterinary care, we will assist with the vet bill with the owner.
In the event that the animal is stray or surrendered, CAP will get the animal to a clinic to receive immediate medical attention before it is transferred to one of our partner rescue organizations.
Our Emergency Medical Fund is reliant on donations, fundraising and grants. Please consider donating to ensure that we can continue to access urgent veterinary care for animals in medical distress. 100% of your donation goes directly to veterinary bills and fuel costs to transport animals to the vet clinic. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $25.00.
