Get Involved
Canine Action Project is always looking for volunteers who share the same love and kindness toward people and their pets as we do. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Special consideration is given to volunteers ages 14 to 17 years old if a parent or guardian is attending the clinic.
MEDICAL VOLUNTEERS
Veterinarians, vet techs and vet students who wish to volunteer with our spay/neuter clinics are asked to email our Medical Manager, Janelle at medical@canineactionproject.com
LAY VOLUNTEERS
Lay Volunteers are needed to help with various duties at the spay and neuter clinics. If you are interested in attending a clinic, please contact Kim at volunteers@canineactionproject.com
OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteering is not limited to spay/neuter clinics. We also require volunteers in various capacities such as fundraising initiatives, cultural events, administrative work, transportation of dogs, etc. Because we do not operate out of a facility and the dynamics of our organization are quite unique, we have volunteers all over the province of Saskatchewan. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
