Shared Cost Spay/Neuter*

To encourage responsible pet ownership and continue to keep the dog populations healthy and manageable, we offer a Shared Cost Spay/Neuter Program to pet owners living in our partner First Nations communities.

Through participating veterinary clinics, we will share the cost of spay or neuter, first set of vaccinations, rabies vaccine and de-worming. The pet owner is responsible for getting the animal to and from their appointment and paying their portion of the cost in full. This program is a great opportunity for veterinary professionals to share animal care information, discuss the importance of yearly vaccinations and create a positive relationship with the pet owner.

We are incredibly grateful to our partner veterinary clinics that have worked alongside us to run this program and encourage responsible pet ownership!

*This program is only available in certain geographic areas and must be authorized by Canine Action Project prior to booking an appointment.
